For performing valuable service in the community, Schwartz Rollins Attorney Charlotte Redo has been named a Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys’ (GABWA) 3500 Service Champion.
Charlotte began her journey into the legal field by working as a Human Resources Manager for large national companies for over ten years. In this role, she advised managers on human resources compliance, recruiting, policies & procedures, affirmative action planning and handled matters pending before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Department of Labor (DOL) and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP).
Since getting her law degree from Mercer University, Charlotte has practiced employment law, handling all matters facing employees and employers in both the private and public sector.
Despite balancing her time as a successful employment lawyer, with her roles as wife and mother, Charlotte still finds time to serve the community. As an Evansdale Education Foundation board member, Ms. Redo has spent many hours serving a diverse Title I school. She has also volunteered her time with GABWA and Gate City Bar service projects, concentrating on projects to help women and children.
